Optitrack nightmare

Postby colorao » Tue Apr 11, 2017 5:10 pm

Hi all
In the project I'm working on, I forced to use Optitrack Prime13 IR cameras.

The problem I'm facing is related to connectivity.
As readed and tested, I can only connect DirectShow cameras to either Pandora's Box and Widget Designer.

The Optitrack Prime13 is inmediateley available on Widget Designer as a DirectShow camera.

The problem comes when trying to use the camera as a Live Input NOT inside WD but inside Pandora's Box.
The camera is not visible at all.

I've installed some DirectShow filter Software from Optitrack website.
Then I can see a new "optitrack camera" inside Live Inputs, but there's no image at it. Also, the camera display a error connection code.
But if I switch to WD, then the camera is recognized instantly.

So my problem is that I cannot use the camera feed inside Pandora's box.

Any idea on this?
Maybe someone knows any 3rd party software to wrap this camera into a DirectShow context?
Maybe another way to make this camera available inside PB ?

Thanks all

i just know the old directshow filter from optitrack.
https://forums.naturalpoint.com/viewtop ... =36&t=8732

But the filter only supports Slim U3, Flex 3, Flex V100 and s250e.

Did you contact Optitack or the natural point forum.

Thanks Benny
I already know this filter, but as you said, it only support other camera models .
My problem is that this Optitrack Prime 17 cameras are already bought.

I also has posted in the Optitrack forum and waiting for some response ...

Anyone there knows a workaround to wrap this cameras into a DirectShow environment ?
