Hi Eness,
through utilizing a 3d environment the internal workspace of Pandoras Box is almost unlimited.
In combination with our synchronization it is possible to stretch pictures and videos over multiple screens, seamlessly move the content over multiple screens or play back 4k Videos that are sliced into pieces from multiple playback devices (Players or Servers).
There is no resolution limit for the images in the pandoras box software, but bigger files will be scaled to the maximum texture size of your graphics card (Nvidia actually does 8192x8192 pixels). Please be aware that this depends on the abilities of your graphic card. For example using the Media Manager on various laptops, there is no guarantee to be able to preview an image bigger than 4k, although Pandoras Box Client would play it.
The maximum video resolution at this point that one Player or Server can play back is 1080p at 25/30 frames. We are currently testing bigger resolutions in the upcoming 4.5 version. As previously mentioned higher resolution videos can be sliced to pieces and played back as one video from multiple Player/Server setups.
I hope this helps to answer your question.
Oliver
