R3601 - Timeline

Postby JustynR » Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:00 pm

Not sure if this is a feature I haven't had the chance to find the option for, or if it is a bug...

When programing on the timeline, when trying to zoom, it does not centre on the curser. Also the screen does not follow the cursor when it is playing.

Hi Justyn,
it´s a feature! So you can work at any position in the timeline although the timeline is running.
If you want to change back to the known mode, click on your sequence in the project tab and then in the inspector enable "Autoscroll".

Greetings,
Julia

One question though, once you choose another sequence and go back to the first one, the Auto Scroll feature unchecks, so you have to click it every time. Is there any way to lock it to Auto Scroll until you unlock it again?

Hi Djrappa,

thanks for reporting this timeline behavior. This seems not to work correctly. The timeline should keep the autoscroll status you edited it to.
I will pass this to our programmers.

Best regards,
Julia
