Offline Manager installation issues

Postby Croaky » Sat Nov 07, 2009 8:55 am

I have an Acer Extensa 7620G laptop, Core 2 Duo Processor (2.0 GHz. 667MHz FSB. 2 MB L2 Cache) with 4 gigs of ram and a 512 MB ATI Radeon HD 2400 XTHyperMemory graphics card.

I run AVG and Spybot SD as antivirus/spamware.

I have installed the HASP HL Drivers from the installer disc .

After disabling AVG and my windows firewall I installed the Hasp HL driver. Upon inserting the Hasp dongle into an available USB port I get a 'A problem occured during hardware installation, your device might not work properly' message.

When I run the Pandoras Box installer it tells me I do not have the dongle drivers on my machine, trying to reinstall the dongle driver I get a message saying that the device drivers are already on my system.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hello Croaky,

you are running Windows XP 32-bit version on this laptop, right?

are you trying to install the latest PB release vers. 4.5? I don´t know what kind of dongle driver you installed, but for the 4.5 Software you will need other dongle drivers than for the 4.1. Please check, if you installed this dongle driver: viewtopic.php?f=72&t=448.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Julia
