fullscreen on 2 monitor doesnot work

Postby rik scholten » Wed Jun 02, 2010 6:59 am

Hello everybody,

All of a sudden the fullscreen on secundary monitor of my laptop does not work anymore.
Windowsdesktop does work on secondary, I can put anything from windows on secundary, including pandora's interface.
Just the fullscreen does not work. The screen flickers a little bit, pandora even crashed, and I had to reboot the computer.

If I give cntrl F to end the fullscreen nothing happens, if I deselect fullscreen on secundary in configuration screen, I get a fullscreen on primary and I can end fullscreen with cntrl F

The fullscreen acts normal on primary screen.

I reinstalled the most recent update(V4_6_Rev4254_RELEASE), with no result.

At this very moment I am scanning with clamwin on advice of Killian,
Clamwin sees no virus
.

Help. . . .

Hi Rick,

do you have the same resolution on both displays? If not - please change it.
Could you please send the logfiles to support@coolux.de?

Thank you!
Best regards,
Julia

Hello Julia,

Thank you very much for the quick answer.
I changed the resolution (both the same now) and it works fine again. . .

Now (to late) I remember that Oliver told me the resolution had to be the same.

I am quite sure though that before it has worked with different resolutions.

Anyhow, back in bussiness . . . .

thanks again.

salut

would be nice to have an error message explaining some of these kinds of issues...

the more I use this software, more little things that aren't documented or reported by error messages become evident. It becomes difficult for an operator to commit all these tricks to one's memory during programming, let alone when the operator is task saturated in a show environment.
