Matrix Lost when applying Contrast

Postby Linton9 » Thu Jun 03, 2010 9:50 am

Found this bug today, as the attached video explains if you add contrast on a pixel map output you can blackout the entire output

Apologies for the Australian accent!

Hi Linton,

could you please try to put another content on the layer, that is not black in the middle, and then apply the contrast effect on it again?
The Matrix Patch is always arranged from the middle of the layer, so when there is some colour information going out from the middle and a contrast effect is applied, you probably only get black in the middle - so nothing is going out.
I tested it here in our office - and the contrast effect fader number two does not kill the output (when there is still colour information in the "captured" area).

Best regards,
Julia
