Standard objects are smaller on layers

Postby lucken » Thu Jun 03, 2010 3:29 pm

- take one of the standard objects delivered with the servers (even the first standard object wich is just 4:3 rectangle)
- add it to a camera -> you have a full screen and video mapped on the object
- add the same object on a layer, then you will see that the screen is not completely filled anymore
in v4.1 it was for camera and layer the same, since v4.5 there is a difference !

Hi Lucken,

I guess you noticed this behaviour when previewing with global cam, right?
In the global cam, all Camera Objects will not be rendered. So if you change to preview Cam1 or Cam2 you will see, that the Standard object is smaller when put on the camera, too.

By the way - the 4:3 "standard object" does not fit to the layer/camera any more, because the camera units inside PB changed up from PB version 4.5.
The new fullscreen objects (to fit the output to 4:3/16:9 etc) can be found in the Filesharing section of the forum: viewtopic.php?f=90&t=548)

Best regards,
Julia
