ColourFX Script

Postby Linton9 » Tue Jun 08, 2010 8:58 am

Hi...

I am trying to set a value for the colour fx channel on a Player Pro.

The string im trying to use is "DeviceSetParam,1,4,Colour FX,15" to try to set black key - its not working, is this the right string?

Cheers

Hi Lyndon,

you have to type the parameter's name exactly like it is written in PB Player Pro.
So, depending on whether to control one of the three Colour FX Faders or the Video FX fader, please type:
"DeviceSetParam,1,4,Colour 1,15",
"DeviceSetParam,1,4,Colour 2,15",
"DeviceSetParam,1,4,Colour 3,15" or
"DeviceSetParam,1,4,Fx 1,15".

Best regards,
Julia

Julia,

I have 5 parameters in PB Player Pro:-
    Colour 1
    Colour 2
    Colour 3
Colour FX (to select the modifier)

    FX1 (video modifier value)
    Video FX (to select modifier)

I've tried inserting "DeviceSetParam,1,4,Colour FX,15" but this doesnt seem to be valid, the colour modifier never changes.
"DeviceSetParam,1,4,Colour 1,255" etc all work...

Hi,

ahh, now I know what you want to do, sorry, thought you mean the faders and not the Colour/Video Effect itself...
Use the script "DeviceSetParam,1,4,Colour Fx,16" or "DeviceSetParam,1,4,Video Fx,16" to change the Effects itself (case sensitive).

Please also have a look in the current PB Help File (downloadable here: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=814 or included in PB Version 4417). In the section WD -> scripts you also have all parameters listed.

Best regards,
Julia
