Hello desiartpandoras,

the computer you are looking at sounds like a powerfull maschine, but there are a few things you should know:

a) Windows XP Prof 64 is not supported or recomanded by coolux
It is possible to get Pandoras Box running under XP 64 Bit, but not for all coolux components are drivers available
Also there is no benefit in running a 64 Bit OS right now, since Pandoras Box is a 32 bit Application and can not use the extra Memery you are planing to put in

b) Memory, 12GB sound great, but if you want to use that maschine only with pandoras box 4GB is enough and all the application will be able to handle (32 bit Application)

c) RAID 1 (Mirroring) is great, since it gives you redundancy

d) AJA XENA Capture Card: I looked at the specs and it looks ok, but we have never tested that card, so I can not tell you how well it works with pandoras box (Latency). You will have to do your own tests or ask the forum if someone is using that card.

e) Nvidia Quadro FX1800: nice and expensive card, I would also consider using a Geforce 260, 275 or 285 if you can still find one. Cheaper and lots of power.

I hope this helps
