Info on Datapath VisionSD4+1

Greetings to all the forums.
My aim would be to project the slides on a PC with a Powerpoint presentation and a box with the relator.
During my testing I realized that I need a video capture card Composite/DVI for each player.

Looking around I found a card datapath:

Is there anyone who has tried this card and can tell me how it works and if there are problems with PB.

Hello,

I've got an Datapath RGB E2 card which works well, basically plug & play. It detects whatever your source is automatically.

Latency isn't too bad - somewhere between 2 to 5 frames (not to concerned because it a generally a data source i.e powerpoint).

The only issue (and a considerable one) is the fact that Pandoras inverts the image,

We have not been able to rectify the issue, I use a mesh to flip the image the correct way.

I tested it with 4.1 & works correctly, just newer versions have this issue.

Have not used a SD4+1 only RGB E2.

Would be interested in hearing news regarding other Datapath cards.

Thanks azman for the info.

I saw that the RGB E2 can receive a signal from a Camera and a DVI signal.
If you use both inputs at the same time as the board meets on PB?
Photos found on the net does not seem to be present no cooling fan on the card, card very hot?

Hello,

The card displays as 2 inputs, It is effectively 2 separate inputs, just on the same card.

I haven't experienced any heat issues at this point, in saying that haven't run any shows with both inputs for any major length of time.
