Is a protocol available? Don't want to use the SDK

I want to control a PB from a show control system. The system has the ability to send and revceive command strings via TCP and UDP, so I don't want to use the PandorasAutomation.dll. Is there a protocol available that shows the command strings that one has to build to control the PB?
