Mainconcept Media Encoder Preset Usage
Posted: Tue Aug 05, 2008 5:33 pmPlease be aware that when creating or using profiles in Mainconcept Media Encoder that the profile always refers to the source resolution of the video loaded as source.
If a different resolution is stored in the profile than the resolution of the file that you want to encode, errors might occur during encoding, like the imge might be cropped at the bottom or on the sides.
Solution:
always create a custom profile for the desired resoltuion source file.
first load a file with the resolution that you want to encode and then create the desired profile.
