If you use a Christie projector with a DVI input card you need to know that this is an analog DVI without EDID information. Recently I had the problem with an Christie LX100, but as I know from Chrstie the cards for the slots are the same on some other projectors and on Sanyo projectors as well.
The problem is, that if you use a full pin DVI cable, the grafic card of the computer waits for an EDID information. This information does not come, and so you can not activate the output.
Again another strange EDID / DVI problem which is not caused by Pandoras Box.
