NVIDIA with DVI to Daktroniks VLINK 4500 LED Wall

Hi,

actually, a very short advise to use a Daktroniks VLINK 4500 LED Wall Controller with Pandoras Box:

use a DVI Detective!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried more than 4 hours to get it running without, but there is no chance.
The problem ist that you need to send 1024 x 768 @ 60 hz to run that screen but the EDID sends back some other timings to the grafic card. So the Daktroniks controller tries to get a different rate on the grafic card. This causes big problems inside the grafic card. If you have it connected you will see that all video clips will not run smooth at all. This already happens in the Windows Media Player. So actually you don´t even need to run Pandoras Box for this.
The strange thins is that this will cause problems on both DVI output, even in dual mode.

For some reason ist is different with ATI Grafic Cards, but I don´t know with wich one it will work or not. I have no time to do more testings her on the venue. So the easiest and best way is really to use a DVI Detective.
I set the one on 1024x768@60hz and everything runs smooth and nice.
