MM Offline

Postby seffs » Sat Jun 18, 2011 12:58 am

Got a question about my MM offline, when I install it I can not check the preview selection box (greyed out), what could be the issue.

If not checked obviously I can not preview what I do...

Win 7 ultimate 32bit
Radeon HD 6750M
Intel Core i7
2.2 GHz
Total Number of Cores: 4
Memory: 4 GB
MBP

Thx

The offline manager sets on the preview as standard, because otherwise, without a preview, you can't pre-program.

Luken is right, you can't un-check it.

Also, since release 5237, if you are installing the manager, it will select preview mode by default.

I do not want to uncheck it... it is uncheked and greyed out...

The engine starts I have a black window but I cant see anything in it, no cameras and no content...

I was thinking if there was nothing in the preview window it might have to do whit this box that is uncheked....

If the problem is not this, someone has a hint why I cant see my cameras and medias?

Thx

If you see a black window and a preview tab, then it is definitely installed... you probably can't install it without.

To see your media, right click on what ever Server or Player you want to preview, and click on "Toggle Preview"

If you don't have anything in your device tab, you have to add it from your "Device Type" tab... but I'm sure you figured that out if you figured that you can't see any Media.

Hi Seb,

Justyn is absolutely right. The offline manager can't be installed without preview.
If you install any other manager without preview there won't even be a preview tab. That's as well the reason why you can't close this tab. Depending on the installation it is there or not.

Please proceed a right click in the preview window. You can find different views inside "Change".
If there is only "Global" to find, no preview at all is activated. If you can as well select "Camera 1" or "Camera 2", your preview is on.
Whenever a preview for a device is activated it is indicated by a white outline box around the device icon.

Cheers,
Markus
