Sdi capture problems

Postby satanete666 » Mon Feb 25, 2013 8:14 pm

Hi

I am doing test in my warehouse with a player std license and computer with a blckmagic sdi capture card, if I put the output resolution the same of the sdi input, all works well for example both full hd, but if I change the output to xga resolution the capture doesn't flow well, is a hardware problem? Is my computer to slow to downscale the image?

Thanks

Hi!

I have moved your topic to 3rd Party Hardware.

It is pretty hard to tell what is going wrong on your side. We are just taking the input as it is and are forwarding it into the output. If downscaling would be a problem on our side within the software, it wouldn't work as well by scaling it down using the scale parameters and rendering this image.

It may be, that the driver of Blackmagic somehow expects that the output resolution is set to the same amount!?
Sorry, but this seems to be hardware-related where I cannot help along.
