Hi,

It seems that the Launchpad S is a simple MIDI device. You can send and receive MIDI with the Widget Designer. For a reference of channels have a look at the Novation Launchpad User Guides (Direct Link: Programmers Reference)

Best regards

Hi there,

I am currently using a Launchpad Mini to trigger various scripts in the WD (jump to next cue, insert pause cue etc...)..

I created a page in the WD on the manager computer with CustomScript buttons laid out like the launchpad and then (painstakingly) mapped the incoming midi notes to each of them.

Then I apply whichever scripts I want for each button.

Only thing I'm having trouble with is that when I initially plug in the device the manager computer sees it as 'Launchpad Mini' but refuses to apply the drivers that I have installed. And then Win XP proceeds to install the generic USB device ones. (This means that I can't use Automap).

If anyone has a solution to that I would be very greatful!

P.s: Hope you appreciate the Christmas themed background :)
