Setting up resolution with Barco Projector

Dear all,

one of our customers had problems setting up a Barco Projector with Nvidia Graphics Card. In the Graphics Card she set up 1400x1050 px @60 Hz, the projector showed a quiet different resolution. Please find attached the way she managed this (unfortunately not very easy to read). Maybe it helps you when having a similar problem.

this is not just a barco and even not a pandora problem this problem ist caused by a wrong edid. so if your desktiop resolution ist not in the edid list as physical resolution of your "monitor" the grafic adapter in default has an output resolution which is equal to the physical resolution of your display but the picture is just in the desktop resolution which makes mostly a smaller picture with a black frame around.
