Problems detecting Dongle

Dear all,

using a PC with Nvidia Chip Setup on the motherboard (not graphics card) could cause problems detecting the Dongle. To put things right, just connect a customary USB-Hub and insert the Dongle here.

Hi,

well it doesn't work for the new Macbook Pro 2.66. (with two grafic cards).
While the offline Manager runs fine on the Macbook Pro 2.3 under a bootcamp Windows setup it doesn't under

MBP 2.66 (latest), all latest drivers (several un- and installs), Widows XP Professional, ... It gives an HASP error "1025" whatever that is. Couldn't find anything here. Is there a later driver than the 5.7?

resolved the problem that - in my opinion - seems to have to do with both: Bootcamp 3.0's ability to read HFS+ and other Macintosh formats and the HASP Driver setup.

1. Rename c:/windows/system32/drivers/AppleMNT.sys and c:/windows/system32/drivers/AppleHFS.sys
2. Reinstall the HASP Driver
3. Reboot (Alles gut macht der Reboot)
4. Run PB and be happy.

Hope that resolves the problem if elsewhere ocurred.

Again no dongle detected after migrating to Parallels. HASP definitely has a problem programming a proper installer. Any chance you could change the dongles used to a properly supported system?

Schlussfolgerung aus den letzten Stunden: PB läuft nicht auf Parallels und stirbt deshalb als Arbeitsmittel für mich.
Oder hat hier jemand eine Lösung für dieses Problem?
Dongle ist offiziell angemeldet und wird gebrifged durchgeschaltet zur Windows-Seite.

Oh, und falls das Problem angeblich bei DirX liegen sollte: VVVV, OF, OD und sehr viele andere Anwendungen laufen problemlos.

Grundsätzlich ist Pandoras Box für Windows XP optimiert und wir empfehlen Windows XP zu nutzen. Virtuelle Maschinen wie Parallels sind immer nur Kompromisslösungen und nicht zu empfehlen. Das Dongle Problem bei Parallels ist bekannt, aber so ohne weiteres nicht zu lösen. Daher die Empfehlung Pandoras Box auf einem Windows XP Rechner zu nutzen.

Auch mit Boot Camp, was ja eigentlich ein reine Windows Installation ist kann es böse Probleme geben. Siehe dazu auch einen Beitrag von mir: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=712&p=1756&hilit=boot+camp#p1756
