Moving Screens

Hi,

here is a quick scheme drawing of a SensorLink setup for real-time screen tracking:

The Motion Data is sampled by the ropelength encoder that is attached to a SensorLink.

The Data is being processed and extrapolated in time and send to a Pandoras Box Server in order to position one or multiple Video Layers at the right position.

With the logical node system in Widget Designer Pro a prediction of the motion can be calculated that will take into a account minimal delays of projectors and make sure that the projected image follows smoothly the projection surface.

Please keep in mind since every motion tracking setup might need different encoder types and adjustments.

The choice for the right encoder depends on the speed of motion an the maximum revolutions per second of the encoder itself.
