Dear all,

we got a suggestion regarding this flip/reverse problem with some input cards, eg. RGB-E2.

Could you please try to use the newest driver for VisionSD8, VisionSD4+1, VisionRGB-E1, VisionRGB-E2 and
VisionRGB-X2 that are available on the Datapath site. The URL for this driver is as follows:
http://www.datapath.co.uk/downloads.html#standalone

If you have already installed the vrgbpro.zip drivers from our coolux website, uninstall all of the applications associated with the install and then install the vision.zip drivers. Once you do, the issue should be resolved.

Any changes with the cards that showed the image flipped/reversed?

Best regards,
Julia

Hi all,

can you please try to set the media format to "VideoInfoHeader2"?

This can be done using "configure" on the live input, confirm the first dialog with ok, and on the second dialog you find it below. See here for screenshots Aaron did:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=746&p=2166#p2166

It also would be interesting if the visionRGB software control panel offers additional information, not only a preview tab, but maybe the possibility to modify setting further than we can accesss using configure.
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=746&p=2166#p2136

Please let us know if the first hint helps and please provide us with feedback to the second point, as we do not have this cards and cannot directly reproduce this issue.

[edit]
Please also post, which other different Colour Spaces are available beside YUY2. You find this information on the same screen as the VideoInfoHeader2 media format setting. Thanks!

Thanks and best regard

The problem is that in the PB Client configures live input after pressing OK in the first config window, second window even if you make changes you do not activate the Apply button and it appears that the changes are not saved.
Outside PB Client can not make out the same windows configuration.

Thanks

But this page is part of the datapath driver or Pandora?
I ask this because these settings can only see them when I'm in Pandora and when change any value apply button is never activated.

Thanks

Hi,
this dialog is part of Windows (specific DirectShow) for configuration of data streams (live inputs etc).
The first dialog is different for each card (as we call the generic driver dialog for a live input card), the second (you attached in your last post) is the DirectShow configuration panel for the so called "output pin".
But meanwhile you solved the problem :-)

Yessssss

It only remains that making changes to the directshow panel will not turn on the button Apply.

For my continued researches it seems to be an issue related to DirectShow and the corresponding driver implementation.
"ok" should nevertheless apply these setting for the current session.
