Just playing with my new WD Pro...

What App on the Iphone/Touch/Ipad are you using to send the UDP commands from the phone to the WD.

Check out the OSC features just added to widget designer pro.

This is a better way to control PB with an iphone or android or any similar device.

Bluetooth or wifi...

Or is that not what you are asking?

The iphone node is for a little Iphone app not available publicly. It is in beta and with OSC you can essentially do everything the Iphone app can plus lots more. I would not expect it to become publicly available anytime soon, but I am not in the loop on that one.

touch osc is a great osc control surface app with a desktop app where you can design your own layouts -
check it out here:
http://hexler.net/software/touchosc

And it is for both the ipad and iphone

Hi Søren,

yes, TouchOSC can only be configured in WD Pro, but once this is done you can load the WD file with a WD STD version and you can use this as well.

I have try touchOSC with pd-extended and when move the fader on iphone pd-extended change value on your console.
I have try with widget pro, i have configured a new udp connection with in port 8000 and out port 9000, I have add a node osc in WD and set connection id with the same value in connection manager.
When move fader on iphone never value change in item osc properties.
I have also try exchange port value in connection manager to out port 8000 and in port to 9000 but I have the same result.

Is this the route or not ?
Wy dont work ?

Many thanks, Alberto

Hi Alberto,

Configuring OSC software on iPhone:
1. make sure that you're on the same wifi as your WD computer

Network settings in OSC software:
2. enter the IP of your WD computer
3. enter outgoing and incoming port (these port numbers use in WD, outgoing port OSC = incoming port in WD)
4. make sure that in options of OSC software "Accelerometer" is set to Off.

In WD:
5. create OSC input node
6. enter correct connection ID and press [Apply].
7. move a fader, so that in item properties of the OSC node you see the fader ID under "Incoming OSC Message Header", looks like eg: "/Fader/fader1,f".
8. press the button [take], then the FaderID "Fader/fader1,f" is displayed in the text field after "OSC Filter".
9. now press [Apply] again, then the fader data will be shown for "Float1" (depending which kind of fader you use).

Does it work now?

Best regards,
Julia

Yessss ........ it work !!
But the value is always changing on float1 or float1 and float2 if I use an xy pad.
If I had more fader in touchOSC and I want use them separately?

Many thanks Julia
