Trigger a custom script button from the timeline

Postby kimlg » Sat Jan 15, 2011 10:15 am

Hello,

Is it possible to trigger a custom script button in Widget designer from the timeline?

I have widget design programmer running on the media manager machine.

Thanks

Yes,

that can be done.
You need to add a serial link to your devices.
Make sure the serial link header is not activated. (Inspector of serial link)

In WD you need to activate remoting.

Now you can send all WD Script Command to the WD just by creating a keyframe in the timeline for the serial link.

Note: Command need to be in brackets ().

Example: (WDFaderUp,1,10)

I hope this helps.

Daniel
