hi julia

i want to control a non coolux hardware. and i want to make a ui that a client can setup some presets with pips in a seamless switcher. problem: there are no preset stores in the unit so i have to store all the values in the software. and: if we close widget designer and reopen it all vallues suold be reloaded in wd!

Hi Chris,

you want to store text in a textbox / textinput?
All text entered to these controls will be safed and reloaded (I`m using the current WD Release Vers. 171).

Or where exactly you want to have a text stored? Inside a Button that sends out TCP commands to this switcher??

Hi Chris,

here is a little trick how to store changes made in WD Viewer:
When setting up the project in Widget Designer create a Button (eg. named "Save"). And inside this button add the script WDSave.
Now after the client made changes in a textbox / text input he may press this button and then all changes are stored.

Greetings,
Julia
