Opening project errors

Hi coolux,

i have worked on a project with different page's and functions.
Now when i open the file i get a list errors.

1830 and 2015 will open good
2236 and 0120 not.

I have a a lot of time in this project. I hope you can help me to resolve them.

Using the 3.0 178 release on Windows XP Pro with all MS updates.

Hi Koenv,

the corrupted files were broken during saving - I can see this because the file-saving just stopped right in the middle.
Unfortunately I can' tell you why this happened.

The difficulty now is that parts of the files are missing.
Attached you will find 4 wdp-files:
a) WvW 2011 - 2207 2236 - edited_jr.wdp and WvW 2011 - 2307 0120_edited_jr.wdp
I repaired these files so that you can open them, but from a certain point on all the data and therefore a lot of controls will miss.

b) WvW 2011 - 2207 2236 - edited_jr -withNodesFrom2015.wdp and WvW 2011 - 2307 0120_edited_jr - withNodesFrom2015.wdp
These files are the same like above, but I copied the whole node system from the project 2015 into these files.

Can you please tell me what the last modification in the file was before this Error happened?

Hi Julia,

Yes the program give a error when saving. Very strange!

The file numbers can you read as Projectname DDMM UUMM ( date and time when saving the file)
This give me more flexibility and backups when I design a project. ( I'm happy now to have a backup)
The 2307 0120 is the last file.

In the file that you sent to me - WvW 2011 - 2307 0120_edited_jr - withNodesFrom2015.wdp
there missing some items on the camera page, but i will make this again. I will move the camera input layers for live viewing.

Latest things that i make was for SMS displaying.
It's a function to read incoming SMS and check the message before it's appears on the screen. On a other forum item i have some questions about this. http://www.coolux.de/kb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=1333

If the error comes again, i keep you informed.

what exactly did you create for SMS displaying?
Did you create nodes? Which kinds of?
Did you work inside the SMS tool?

I don't know it exactly, I have a input box to read out the SMS.
I create a button to displaying the SMS on a second box to view them on PB
In the attached file i have a remake. But its not 100% the same.
