Aiscan xy to layer xy delay

Postby rubendesnoo » Thu Aug 04, 2011 1:05 pm

Hi,

Like in the movie of looplight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwNQl6DARpE) I tried to map a layer on a moving object (cardboard box).
I used the airscan, widget designer and a pandora's box. When I move the box very slow everything works fine, but when I speed the movement up a little, the pandora's box layer seems to delay. (When I connect my mouse curser to the airscan it looks much more precisely)

Is the a node solution for predicting the direction of the box, so it ads a small value with the coordinates? Or isn't there a solution for this?
Or maybe it's just a property setting in widget designer or pandora's box.

Thanks

Hi Ruben,

maybe you should think about the "Add Relative" node...

As well changing the damping of the movement could help to be a bit quicker. Reducing the damping too much, could lead to loosing the smoothness.
You have to try and find the best setting for your application.
Select your Device and edit the "Engine Settings" in the inspector.
