Hi,

i'm working with the airscan and need some help about using the option Drawaing Canvas in WD.

How to do to draw on screen with Airscan?

Hi there,
you must create a full screen Drowing Canvas on your WD's pc and capture it into the server using DVI so you can manage it like a live input. In WD drowing canvas you can chose line and background colour so you will put on layer the RGB key or Black key or White key or any fx you want to make transparent what you want.

But in the item properties of Drawing canvas i can't enabled the airscan. I would like drawing with the airscan not with the WD.
Do you know what I mean?

Hi,
the only thing you must do is to configure your airscan and then you need to Enable Mouse and Enable Click. You need WD because you can't drow directly into PB manager or Server, you can only capture the WD display using DVI input card on server and then you can use this input into a layer.

Yes, so long as you have a capture card...
Just make your drawing canvas full screen on your WD computer... send that output right to your PB... and there you go!

Hi!

You can as well use the motion mask to have a smoother drawing. If you want to uncover something by painting soft lines or clouds, this would be a good option. You can route the input of the Airscan directly into the panel and check the option "Paint only".

Just open the item properties of the motion panel and check the box Airscan.

Hi,

please update the WD to the WD Rev. 209 Release Candidate in order to use the Airscan as Input for the motion mask display. There you have these item properties:

Thank you Julia, I have updated the WD to the Rev.209 but I'm waiting for the upadte the dongle of PB because I updated the PB too.

Is there any way to work offline? Without dongle... to test/check the connection between WD and PB layer.

no, there is no way to work offline with Pandoras Box without dongle.
Did you get your update? If not you could try the PB Vers. 4.7 together with the WD 4.7 legacy mode dongle support:
