Widgets controlling other Widgets

Whats the easiest way to trigger a custom script button to 'click' from another custom script button on another WD computer?

with WDstd on both computers.

Hi samtrak,

the easiest and meant way to do this is the remoting.
Set up the remoting in the receiving WD. Connect to this via the other WD and a TCP-connection on the specified port.
Sending TCP commands like TCPSend,1,(WDCustomScriptClick,1) lets you send scripts via TCP. The executable script for the receiving WD has to be written in brackets.

that's a different ball game...

a variable would have to be put into a TCP or UDP output node to another WD from a variable input node using WD pro.

as you know, there are 10 ways of doing everything. i cant wait to see what others say!

Alright!

Challenge accepted, Sam!

I would jump in with "network broadcast" on labels. Therewith you could transfer the information easily.

Next one - next idea!
