Postby niky » Fri Oct 21, 2011 12:38 pm

dear all,
i need very quickly to setup an interactive floor with my WD pro,
this is non a fixed installation...
is there someone that have done something similar before??!
for a distance of 5\6 meter i need only one camera and tracking input tool??or more camera and detection tool?

the goal will be for exemple :
walk on the water and generate wave with the feet ( motion detection tool is correct???),
or move objects around the feet
thank you for help

best regards

Hi Nicholas,

depending on your setup you have to decide if you need more than one camera or a pressure detection by walking above or other tracking options.
The motion detection or maybe the collision panel could be a good option for you to realize your application again depending on what exactly you are planning to do.

Hi!

At the moment I can't advice you a pressure detector as I do not have experiences on these kinds of sensors myself.
So far I only used a Wii-Balance-Board. :-)

Maybe somebody else has experiences on this!?

You should look at a pressure sensor, under each feet/leg of a stage. With the sensorlink the values could be red by widget designer, and then you could calculate a position.
I think there are also sensors with a module which you could program to send tcp/udp-values.
