Widget Viewer question

Postby rauvisual » Wed Apr 11, 2012 6:41 pm

Is it possible to let the PB Widget Viewer be the default application to open .wdp projects?

I have an installation in which the widget project needs to load on Windows start up, without much end user input. The widget was created using WD Pro, but now it just needs to run, which PB Widget Viewer can do so without the need of a Pro dongle.

Can Viewer load a project automatically on startup?

Your help is much appreciated.

Hi rauvisual,

yes it can be done. WDP file extensions will always open with the last installed version of the Widget Designer.

If you open the Widget and load a project you can select "load last config on startup" in the context menu "File".
After storing the setting and closing the Widget, you can run the Widget Viewer and this will open the last project file.
That's it.
