Rotation Sensor Link WD Programing

Postby loggyskin » Fri Apr 20, 2012 10:25 am

Hey guys!

I'm trying to program the rotation Sensor Link in WD Pro.

As you know, Y Rot has just manual rotation until some value.
and after that it has automatic spin value.

So, I added two more Node for an infinite repeat.

1. if result is 40965(0 degree) , the value change to be 32769(0 degree)
2. if result is 24573(0 degree) , the value change to be 32769(0 degree)

However, it's not work. :(
Please help me~!

you want to use the "Modulo" Math Node

This jumps back at a value you can set.

Also - in the inspector in PB.... click on the server (in the device tab)... scroll down and set the transition smoothing for the rotation from 500 to 0. This will stop you from seeing it spinning back around once every time the modulo returns to 0.

Cheers,

Hey guys,

normally the value of the rotation sensor will jump back to 0 on its own after 360°. Combining this with just a range node should normally be enough for one rotation. With the already mentioned smoothing set to 0 it shouldn't be a problem any more.
