Alberto,

this all can easily be done without using the skeleton tracker at all. Just use the multi-touch panel and you are all set.
If you want to use the tracker, you have to define for yourself when and how you want to interact with the layers. Shall they always react to your hand or only in a specific depth!?
Rotation and scaling can be addressed by using the distance between two points and its rotation angle. Use the "Angle Distance" node for that or one of the vector nodes.

Thanks Markus.
But how can I interact with the multi-touch panel if I do not have a surface to be touched?

Hi!

The detected points are directly routed into MultiTouchPanel. Just create one in fullscreen and you will see the result.

Markus,
here I think the translator of google does not help me to let me know :)
But if I use multitouch panel with kinect skeleton using the mouse to rotate / zoom on multitouch panel I need two pointers in the pc but if it has one. How do I fix this?

I apologize for the continuation of the discussion, but I would like to be able to realize this project.

Thanks for your patience, Alberto

To begin to see something I have used a range node connected to a node kinect skeleton tracker to move the content on the x-axis.
With the node range suitable for the x value of the right hand
The exit value of node range is from -30 to 30
So the x position of the layer is linked to the position of the right hand.
I then have a node is in range that triggers the movement based on the z potion of the right hand
Rightly when unleashed the gesture for moving the layer moves the shutter to the position of the right hand while I wish that when unleashed the displacement from the position in which is located the contents of the layer

you have any suggestions on how to solve this my gap?
I hope I was clear enough in the exposition of my problem.

Tnx, Alberto

Hi Coolux (Markus),

I succesfully made an skeleton tracking set-up with kinect, widget an pandora.
Now I can dance, and a Character in Pandora is exactly copying my moves!

Thanks a lot for this nice piece of software!
It is also running very stable.

best regards

Ruben de snoo

(if someone would like to use my patch, don't forget to scale the content in Pandora, and also a little pivot scaling will be neccesary)

In these parts is not often found someone who shares their projects
Although I have not yet been able to try your project but thank you

What did you use as a character?
Can you share it?

Thank you, Alberto

Hi,

I used png files from a skelet.
You can see a test here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... G_H9fTU0n8

Give me your mail and I give you the files.

But, I have some issues with the driver, it seems that I cannot download the CL Nui instal anymore, do you have it form me?

Or a download link.

best regards

Hi Ruben,
at this link you can find all about kinect http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/kinectfo ... loads.aspx
Otherwise if you want to use drivers tested from Coolux you can choose these:
http://www.coolux.de/root/downloads/support/Widget Designer/Tools/KinectSDK-v1.5-Setup.exe
http://www.coolux.de/root/downloads/support/Widget Designer/Tools/KinectTracker_Rev7.zip

I like very much your test with the skeleton and to be honest I don't understand how you obtained it with a png image from skeleton.

Cheers,

Very cool Ruben! I assume that was a lot of pivot offset work.

Thanks for the share!

Can someone please send the link to make the Rev_7 work?

From reading another thread, it looks like I need Rev_1 installed to make this work.

Thanks,

Thanks Alberto,

But this one doesn't start either.

From the other threads I've read, it looks like I need the Rev_1 version of this to make it work too... there is a file or two in there that I need to make it work.

Thanks!!!
