Hi All,

Just wondering how the Airscan copes in thick fog or light haze...?

I have tested it in very heavy low smoke - it didn't work.

I haven't had any problems in moderate haze.

It's obviously hard to give you solid numbers - but I hope this helps anyways.

Hi Lynden,

as the AirScan is sending out "just" a laser light ray it will behave the same as any other laser pointer you can hold in your hand.
If the fog is as heavy that the light will be reflected back by the particles, you will receive some wrong values within the readout.

As Justyn said, it is hard to tell exactly when it stops working. Thanks for testing - I never did it myself!
