Using PB Master and WD on same hardware

Is it possible to run PB Master and Widget designer on the same hardware system.
I want it use with 2 monitors one for Widget Designer the other for Pandoras Box Master

I have done this yes.

I'm sure it is not recommended if you're building a Widget that has many variables and calculations happening many times a second... but when I do it, it is when I am using the WD to trigger timelines and use a Media Picker and so on.

No Problem, I so that all the time, but as Justyn said, please be aware of your system resources.
It is generally not a good idea to use processing consume tings on the same machine as the Manager.
In Regards to WD those are all the things that use VideoInput, lots of nodes or lots of Gui Updates (like lots of moving faders, etc)

thanks for your reactions,

In the project WD does only some text input for PB. Like a ticker tape and actual time info. So it don't need a lot of system recourses I think. Controlling PB is true a Chamsys lightdesk.
The manager is used for adding new media to PB for decoding and as programing window.

I will test some things before i run the show.
