Sub layer?

SO I see in the change log the talk and add of something called Sublayers. However there is zero talk of this anywhere else. Can someone from Coolux give us a little but of insight on this?

As far as I know:

Sublayers are like regular layers, but with some restrictions. I do not know them all, but there are the most important ones:
- Sublayers all share the same texture
- Sublayers can only be controlled remotely (not from the GUI)

These layers are faster than using multiple graphic layers with shared textures, because they don't have to be processed in the GUI. They were originally put in for something like reactive particles, so that you can have multiple items that are moved by some kind of interaction.

The Widget Designer should provide scripts to manage them.

Yes it does provide some scripts but ZERO documentation on what they are. So in theory if I wanted to program them is the only way to see them with an actual server? Or would I be able to see them someplace like in a Venue site or a camera view on a manager?

Hello,

since I have not used them yet (they have a rather specific use) I can't say for sure. I would guess that they will be properly rendered in any Pandoras Box including the preview of a master.

I still have never gotten these to work. Is it possible for someone to spend a small amount of time and share some documentation of their use. It sounds like a strong feature but its a shame that a broader group of users cannot use them.
