Hi,

has anyone experience with the APC40 MKII?
Faders and knobs are working perfectly but I was wondering how you can assign the so called Clip launch buttons.
I can see the notes they're sending but can't assign a command to them..

Kind regards
Katleen

In the Akai APC40 editor:
- click the button you want to programm
- in the bottom of this editor (Button Settings) you can assign all Widget commands
- once done click on Apply

Hi,

I already tried that.
Normally when you click a button you can see the notes send AND in the button settings it goes to the right "Button Press Script". ex the "Stop Clip button" works like that

But when I press (on the hardware panel) the clip launch button I only see a note send.
Only when I click (with the mouse) on the clip laucnh button I get the right "Button Press Script"
I indeed can assign any command but it's not executing my command when I press the button...

Kind regards

Katleen,

Can it be that you did this: in tools -> connection -> midi : select APC40 , enable?
If so, disable this again, this is not needed if use the APC40 editor.

Ok, but thanks for trying..

I have a feeling that with the APC40 MK2 they have changed the midi notes comparing with the ACP40...
