Video Input Display through Client server

Postby rbergens22 » Tue Jan 20, 2015 9:43 pm

Hello,

I am running WD on my Master server, and Decklink Video Capture on one of my Client servers. I am unable to get WD to display the live video feed via Video Input Display. Will WD only read Decklink off of its own server? We are hoping to avoid that because capturing with our Master server and then sending it to our Clients would result in too much of a delay.

Any help toward getting the Decklink Video Capture from our Client to show up in WD Video Input Display on our Master would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Rob

Hello,

Inputs you like to use for either PB or WD have to be physically present on the system. Or to put it in other words: If you want to use a live input then you need a card with the signal on each machine you like to use it on.

We do not stream data over the network.

you need a DA and an input card in each system.

The signal is not delayed in the DA.
