Current media position in freerun

For WD I would like to get the current media position of a clip playing back in freerun. Is this possible?

I just ran into a problem programming a show in Vegas where this would have been extremely useful. +1 for feature request.

I synchronize movies with a symphony orchestra and thus I need movies to be in freerun. I programmed a wheel to control the playback speed. It would certainly be very useful to have a readout of the movie position. Especially during rehearsal scenarios where we need to rewind to a certain point. I can already do that with a fader assigned to the video layer's inpoint but it would be very nice if I could program this fader to update its position during playback as well. When playback is paused the current media position is lost and resets to zero when adjusting this inpoint fader.
