Calibrating an Optitrack camera

Hello,

I'm trying to calibrate some Optitrack cameras (Prime 13) and every time I'm done taking the snapshots I get an openCV error. I've attach a picture with the exact error message.
I've done every steps as in the manual with no luck. I'm at the point where I'm trying every options in the dialog boxes, the fun is almost gone. :?
Am I missing something? Is there a secret handshake or something to get it working?

Thanks,

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

what WD Rev do you use?
Did you change the number of the horizontal- and vertical internal corners in the Camera Lens Calibration Settings?
Your chessboard has a size of:
H Count: 8
V Count: 6

Best regards,
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne,

I use WD rev.1100 and I tried it with rev.1284 too with the same result.
That may be the chessboard size the problem, I entered 10 x 8... I'll try it soon!

Thank you!

Hey,

@alverman: 1284 is not a public release. Thomas got it by other means and mentioned it only to state that it is not fixed in this newer version. That makes it easier for us to track down the issue.

Dennis

I just retried it with the same chessboard and a 9x7 config and it worked great! I guess I read the manual a bit too fast.

But when I click the Re-Acquire Cameras, the pane is scrolling down every time and it's a bit annoying to have to scroll back up each time just to keep working. Or is it a "feature"?
