IR Tracker Damage

So I had a tech today knock the batter terminals off the back of a IR tracker. Has anyone started to make or think about some kind of protection for these things when in use? I know the design of them was to be as small and thin as possible which I understand and want but I think in some cases some kind of shell or back case is indeed needed.

I'm going to be looking into it in the next few weeks...

Just recently built a 3D Printer... This is one of the projects that was on my list for it.

I'll keep you posted!

I was thinking down the same line. The part that looks tricky is that the "screw ears" area already perforated so that also becomes a point of failure.
