Passive infrared tracking

Postby aferors » Thu Jun 16, 2016 10:23 am

Hey team,

has anyone had any success in tracking passive IR reflective dots into widget via the optitrax systems, and then successfully translating that into a pitch, yaw, and roll values (XYZ rotation).

Cheers

WD does not have a rigid body system like the actual Optitrax software. You will have to setup your rigid body in there and then transfer the data back to WD.

WD can essentially create rigid bodies with a limited number of points using the tags, but it does not do pattern recognition in the same way.
