Good morning,
I have a simple cable adapter usb/midi (15 €).
I wanted to try to control the audio mixer LS9 via WD.
I set in the connection manager midi device that wd sees regularly the adapter (in/out).
Trying with midi-ox on the same PC it seems that giving midi commands wd not come out anything.
it is possible that the adapter is incompatible with wd?
When I move the sliders on the mixer I see the values change in the midi-ox !!

Any suggestions ?

Thank you, Alberto

..... The problem is that each fader, button or anything else on the audio mixer the midi msg in midi notes editor and in midi message tools is always the same value !!

Why ?

Thanks, Alberto

Hello buddy.

I'm sorry you must feel so lonely out here, it's almost despressing.
I'm struggling with midi every other day in WD.
When I use an apc40, once I've launched WD, I have to unplug it, press disconnect near the dropdown menu selecting the interface, replug it, re-select it in the same dropdown menu to make it work, never worked any other way.
Oh, and obviously, press apply after each and every action.
Drove me crazy for a looooooong while, as I'm sure you can imagine.
I've tried as well to use the midi message editor but never managed to recieve the incoming message to it, eventhough the apc40 editor sees that message. (Yes, that's how I got the message itself)
And then, about every 10 show, it just disconnects and the only way to have it back is to repeat the power on routine!!!

Any help wouldn't be refused, can you read you guys up there???
