Hi there!

I was wondering if there's a way to control a video playback speed in Pandoras Box using Widget Designer. I have tried many button/fader properties but so far couldn't figure it out.

It is completely possible, I have it in a few Widgets I have created.

You have to create a fader;
your device will have to be the server number followed by the layer number, ie. 1,1 (server/player # 1, layer # 1)
in the "PARAMETER" put "PlayMode"

The default for loop is 192, and pause is 128.
So obviously anything between 192 and 128 will be slower, and anything above 192 is faster.

If you create a fader like this, you can also create a "Custom Script" button which can control this fader. You can actually make a "Pause/Play" button which can fade to a pause or fade to play if you would like.

The possibilities are endless with the Widget Designer....

Hey Justin, many thanks!

I'll give that a try. Widget Designer is a very helpful tool, but sometimes is difficult to figure out the correct parameters to declare to buttons and faders. Thanks again for your help

your request has been adressed already in the current development
the next release of Widget designer will include a dropdownlist to ease the access the the current parameter set
