Generating TimeCode in WD

Postby chrisr » Wed Sep 21, 2016 7:57 pm

Hello All!

I am finding that I can read TC from the timeline in PB. I havent seen anything that will allow me to create and manage a Timecode Clock within Widget Designer. Is there something I'm missing?

IS there a way to control the TIMECODE clock that is available in WD from a set of commands, without looking outside of WD?

Thanks for any input, have a great week everyone!
Thank You

If you have the SMPTE link connected to your WD PC you can open up the WD connection manager and view the SMPTE Link properties withiin you can choose wether you want to send or receive timecode. If you choose to send timecode you can then enter the start timecode time within the text area. This can then be controlled by commands within WD.

scottywalker,
Thanks for the reply. So basically, there is no free run generator within WD.

http://www.coolux.de/products/accessories/ SMPTE Link cable at the bottom of the page.

Hopefully there is some sort of Freerun SMPTE clock generator in WD Ver6 ! :) Thanks again Scott.

Have a great weekend.
Thank You
