Hi. I am having a problem with installing PB widget designer STD.

When installing the software, the message or error of the installer shown up.("AppName: setup.exe AppVer: 8.0.50727.42 ModName: msihnd.dll ModVer: 3.1.4000.1823 Offset: 00036915).

The application or environment set up is: Network runtime 2.0 is installed with Windows XP 32 bit.

Please advice.

this might be related to either the windows installer having a problem or your directX version

have installed the directX version from our download section?

did you install service pack 2 of win XP

Are you running a japanese version of Win XP?

We do test english, german and multilingual win xp 32bit.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes. However, other computers with WIN XP Japanese version our co-worker uses just works fine with the installer.

so we can look at the error message.

It is likely that some windows installer components are missing on your system.

All the error messages were in Japanese..........

In any case, they said there is a problem with windows installer.

they also said details are("AppName: setup.exe AppVer: 8.0.50727.42 ModName: msihnd.dll ModVer: 3.1.4000.1823 Offset: 00036915).

the problem seems to be with the windows installer on your computer.

please try to update the windows installer
