Justyn is right. The thing is that once you are in fullscreen the "fullscreen" is detached from the GUI (User Interface). When you press [CTRL+F] it is only recognized by the Pandoras Box GUI and not by the Fullscreen. Move your mouse over to the fullscreen and click it once (it won't display the mouse coursor). Now you can use [CTRL+F] to exit the fullscreen.
Edit: I just read that there were fixes that address this issue. I will test the internal beta on monday for the issue.
Edit2: Not fixed yet. There is an existing issue in the bug tracking system.
