SPARK- enable / disable individual serial link device in WD?

Postby proximityav » Tue Sep 03, 2013 12:45 pm

Hi

I have 3 serial link devices in a PB Master show file on the same sequence. They are all laptops connected via TCP/IP each running Spark.

Is there a way for me to disable and enable each device individually from a custom script (button etc) in WD STD? ideally I'd like to control all devices with the same scripts - which I can do now, but sometimes I'd like to turn of the connection just to one of the devices whilst the other two remain connected and receiving scripts.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi Paul,

I am not aware of any way to disable specific serial link devices via WD/Automation.

You can use the Serial link device to trigger a Widget Designer via Remoting and do your selection logic there.
