Hi, so I am trying to delay a certain part of the signal from an AirScan Multipoint Node.
I have a AirScan Multipoint Node connected to a Range Filter and this is connected to a Device Control Node.
I actually have 3 of these setup per AirScan Multipoint node to send the X & Y data straight to a particle generator on a layer so I can draw directly on a layer with particles.
The third Range and Device control node pair are to turn the particles on when the point is created.
there is one problem with this however and that is this:
When you are drawing and you leave the AirScan beam, the x,y coordinates are left in their last position. when you start to draw again in a different position the particles are getting turned on before the AirScan or layer have processed the new x,y coordinates on were to start drawing in the new position. you end up with this line of particles then from the last position you finished drawing in to the new position.
What I am trying to do is add a 'Delay' node in-between the range node and the device control node so that the data to 'turn on' the particles is delayed and you don't see the small amount of lag from the x,y coordinate position change.
Currently what is happening when I add the delay node is that NO data is passed through it! You don't see the input data or output data appear at all.
I have told the delay node that its Input source is the 'Range Output'.
All nodes are connected.
I cant work this one out???
I have even created a blank project and tested that the delay nodes are in fact working...and they are. But when connected to a Range Node, they done seem to work or event acknowledge the incoming data.
