Hi
Following your webinar I’ve done some test with the remap fx and the resoult is not exactly what a thought, let me describe the situation and the issue:

I have a led with 3840x540 resolution:

The led controller needs the following mapping on a 1920x1080 output:

Content are made pixel to pixel with the same exact resolution on the led.


With a server available I would have added 2 virtual cameras 1920 x 540 focused on the left and right side of the content, used both textures of the cameras on 2 layers repositioned in a 1920 x 1080 space, focused from another camera patched on the output.

I’ve tried with a player to remap the output with the Remap fx and the result of the mapping is ok

but...

This is the zoom of the output preview in the server:

It seems that the 3840 pixel media on the player was down-scaled and than zoomed to fit the 1920 screen losing half of the definition.
Any solution?

Hi.

The recommendation was, if I remember correctly, to use the scale parameter on the output. As there is no output scale parameter available in players, you'll have to work with the output warp mesh. Please find workflow below:

I've done some other tests today with the player connected to the manager: The issue is only in the preview of the manager, the output of the player renders pixels correctly (the only important thing)
